Grounded Educational App

Grounded was shaped as an educational mobile app for young children who need a softer, easier way to engage with homework at home. The concept focused on making learning feel welcoming instead of overwhelming, with a visual system that supports attention, routine, and confidence.

The experience was designed to balance child-friendly warmth with enough structure for real use. That meant thinking carefully about pacing, hierarchy, and how each screen could guide a child forward without creating friction for parents or educators.

The process started with clarifying how a child would move through homework tasks step by step. From there, the work focused on reducing cognitive overload, simplifying screen decisions, and building a calmer interface language that could support repeated daily use.

Visually, the direction leaned into softness, clarity, and trust. Layout, color, and interaction decisions were shaped to keep the app approachable for children while still feeling organized and reliable enough for a real educational product.
